Suggest Treatment When Suffering From Enlarged Spleen And Liver

default
Posted on Sat, 16 May 2015
Question: I have a enlarged spleen and liver. They are twice the size they should be. I am diabetic, a doctor told me that I had XXXXXXX 5 years ago. Now they are enlarged. My GI Docsaid that it is robably XXXXXXX but it could be more. I have major fatigue all the time, I often have to take a 1/2 hour to 3 hour nap a day. Mon -Fri it has to be a 1/2 hour due to work. I have pain daily in the liver area. The GI doc could clearly feel my liver today when I went. I would just like to know all my options.

Brief Answer:
Full assessment required

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
You require to be reassessed with a full liver function test and an upper GI endoscopy .This is to know whether the XXXXXXX has progressed further.
If these are normal, there's nothing to worry. Control your diabetes well. Please let me know how good your control is and the medicines you are on.
