Suggest Vitamin Supplements That Can Alleviate Anxiety And Migraine
A multivitamin with minerals, or a B-complex
Detailed Answer:
I would recommend a multivitamin with minerals, but if you want to focus on just one type of vitamin, a B-complex is your best bet.
B-complex has a balanced amount of the various B vitamins and these are important in energy metabolism and in decreasing anxiety.
Vitamin C and E can also be helpful for anxiety.
Minerals Calcium and Magnesium are important to have enough of in anxiety and tension - magnesium in particular, as it is involved in muscle relaxation, which may be beneficial for migraines. I could not find whether this also applies to ocular migraines.
So given all of these together, any quality multivitamin with minerals would be a place to start. I generally recommend getting multivitamins from health food stores or Whole Foods as these are less likely to have fillers and preservatives.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information or if you would like more details or clarification.
Which of the Thrive products?
Detailed Answer:
I looked up and see that Thrive has a variety of different formulations including one for women so I looked up the ingredients for Thrive for Women. I see that in addition to a typical array of vitamins, it also has other non-vitamin things such as green coffee bean and theobromine (a stimulant). You could try it and see, but if you have problems you won't know which of the many herbals and other supplements in it may be bothering you. Also note that Thrive for Women does not have magnesium or calcium.
If you want a supplement that has many compounds (some researched, some not so much) that might give you an energy boost, you can try the Thrive-W. I am a little concerned that if you have problems with anxiety, what the effects of the more stimulating compounds in it may have on you.
So I'd recommend for starters to keep it simple and go with a regular multivitamin with minerals formula.
Any of the Nature's Way Alive! vitamin gummies would be good.
Detailed Answer:
I personally use the Alive! Women's gummy vitamins. I compared the ingredient listed in the ones I have with the ingredient list in Alive! for Women 50+ and I see only minimal differences. And they are both gummies. I think you could use either the Women's of Women 50+.
Best to take vitamins with breakfast or within 30 min of it.
Detailed Answer:
Some research suggests that the best time to take vitamins is in the morning, with food or within 30 minutes of eating. This allows the vitamin supplement to be broken down, digested and absorbed with your food. And the morning is good for taking vitamins because you have less of the nutrients in your system at that time, and it can give you a boost for your day. If it helps you remember to take all of them, you could take the 3 all at breakfast. But if you find that it is too stimulating or bothers you in anyway, then you can spread them out throughout the day.
