Suggest Ways To Avoid Pregnancy After Intercourse
Question: Hi doctor, I have a 1 year kid. But this month my period is getting delayed. Could you please suggest what phils or food I can take to avoid pregnancy

Firstly if your menses have been delayed, it is important to know that delayed by how many days now. If its more than 8 days post missed periods and you are suspecting pregnancy then you must get a urine pregnancy test done. It is to be done only after 8 days as else there are chances of false negative results.
If your pregnancy test comes positive then there are options for medical termination of pregnancy within 63 days of pregnancy under medical supervision.
If its not been 8 days as yet then you may get a serum beta hcg test done tomorrow. If the test is positive then you are pregnant and if negative then you are pregnancy safe and then you can just wait for your menses to return as then it may be just due to stress induced hormonal imbalance which can most commonly delay menses in women.
