Suggest Ways To Avoid Pregnancy After Intercourse

Question: I had sex 2-3weeks ago ..My last period was on 20/7 and still my period has not started..I have also PCOS which is also a reason of my irregular period.I have used prega news Pregnancy test recently at home which shows negative result.what should i do to start my period ?I do not want to be pregnant now.

I share your concern
There are chances of pregnancy with unprotected sex which can be confirmed/ruled out by transvaginal ultrasound in the very early stage
Here, I would like more details for better assessment of the condition
Duration of your menstrual cycle and date of the unprotected sex?
Sex near the period of ovulation has more chances of conception which generally occurs 14 days prior to next expected period.

In my opinion you should go for blood HCG test or transvaginal sonography to rule out pregnancy
If pregnancy is not there than you should wait for some time, you may get your periods

chances of pregnancy might be there, urine pregnancy test may show false negative at times so I would advise you for transvaginal sonography to rule out pregnancy first.
You should repeat urine pregnancy card test with early morning urine sample which gives more accurate results.

I have done the urine hCG test today early in the morning with the first urine sample and it has again showed negative result..Is it necessary to go for the blood HCG test again? Do I have to take medicines to start my period again?
