Suggest Ways To Avoid Pregnancy After Sex
Some menstrual details required.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
For taking birth control pills, you have to choose them from different varieties. I can advise you more scientifically if you give me your menstrual history in details. What is your periodicity, for how many days you bleed, is there any pain, how many pads you change every day, do you get them regular, etc. details are considered while choosing the pills.
You have to make choice between Oestrogen dominant pills, balanced pills and Progesterone dominant piles. Depending upon you hormonal balance, these pills are selected. By your phenotype and menstrual history, we can assess it.
If you inform me your height and the breast size along with the menstrual history, I can guess your phenotype.
If you had any recent history of jaundice, you should not take pills. Also, please palate your breasts with the flat of your palm. Any tumour in breasts is contraindication for pills. In fact before starting any pills, you should look in to find out the information about in which all different conditions the pills should not be taken.
The pills should be started from second day of the cycle, should be taken regularly without missing any pill, at the same time of the day, preferably at bedtime after dinner.
In fact, if you want protection only for a short period of only two months, I would advise you to opt for barrier methods like condom. Even women's condoms are also available.
Please reply back with the requested information to enable me to give you appropriate advice. For any more information, I am always available for you XXXX.

Medical Termination of Pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Have you confirmed her pregnancy either by urine test or by Beta hCG test? If the pregnancy diagnosis is confirmed, then she may go for termination of pregnancy.
Pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation can very effectively, safely and easily be terminated by medicines. Tab Mifepristone and Tab. Misoprostol are used for this purpose.
Before taking these medicines, you should know certain facts about them:
1. These medicines cause developmental abnormalities in the baby; hence if they fail to terminate the pregnancy, it should be terminated by some surgical procedure like MVA aspiration or so.
2. These medicines are prescription medicines and should be taken only by Obstetrician's advice and prescription.
3. I advise my patients report after a week.
4. Usually the abortion is complete within 72 hours of last dose of Misoprostol; however, confirmation by ultrasonography is always safe.
Alternatively you may opt for surgical evacuation of the uterus.
The choice is yours; rather hers.
For any more advice of information, please feel free to ask me, XXXX.
