
Suggest Ways To Bring Down Uric Acid Levels

I am 32 year old woman and have been feeling pain around my heel bone from almost last 20 days. Today I got my Uric acid done which came out to be 8. I was not able to maintain a healthy lifestyle as I was nursing my new born baby. But now I have started my workout...will this help in bringing down the Uric acid level? Also please suggest which foods to avoid. I am extremely worried.

My Opinion-
Dear after review of the given facts and the biochemical report,You seems to suffer from-?Hyperuricemia-which could be from high dietary intake/or increased production/ or could be from reduced kidney /gut excretion.
These pains could be from work- stress to foot, or could be from other reasons also.
So,Dear don't jump down to High uric acid as being cause of your heal pains.
I would suggest you to rule out other causes of heal pains besides high uric acid,which could be incidental finding also and need not be worried,unless proved by Specialist Check and diagnosis.
Still to reduce your worries,following do's are suggested-
Do's Suggested-
Consult General Physician-to physically check and investigate with X-ray if need be,accordingly, for heal pains.
Change in shoes heals/avoiding high heal sandle/ shoes.
Infra-red / hot fomentation x 5 days
Tab NSAIDs-Like Motrin-400 mg-x 5 days
If it does not give relief-Get Orthopedic opinion who would treat it accordingly.
Other causes of Heal pains-like Tendo Achilles Tendinitis / or Plantar fasciatis- needs to be ruled out by Consults with Orthopedic doctor,if need be, before planning further treatment, in your case.
Breathing and Yoga exercises-in moderation only- to distress and improve Oxygen levels x 2 times a day.
Avoid heavy work outs,as it would increase uric acid due to high protein wear and tear.
So please take opinion from your doctor,before adding Heavy work outs.
Avoid yeast added bakery products.
Take fluids in plenty.
Water with sodabicarb and Lemon x 1-2 times a day.
Avoid-high non veg diet/ beans and peas/liver,meat,sea food like meckerel, tuna,
mussels,scallops,etc.
Avoid alcohol,beer.
Drink citric fruit juice-like pineapple-lemon x 1-2 times a day.
With this you should be out of this heal discomforts.
If it still persists Second opinion with Orthopedic doctor/Rhuematologist, if need be, would be needed to plan further care in your case.

In My opinion, Your obesity is adding to heal pains.
You seem to have obese built and should loose 16 kgs over next 10-12 mths.
I would suggest a loss of at least-10 kgs in next 6 mths time.
I agree with you that your obesity, could be adding to more heal pains.
Get Vit D3 and Calcium levels and keep Me updated to guide further on this
For reducing OBESITY- You need to take-
High fibre / high protein diet with low carbs and fat and with low volumes of food / with fruit juices, over next 10-12 mths, which would make you more fit.
Walking exercises/ jogging / for 30-40 mts, would go a long way in trimming your body over next 10-12 mths time.
Keep updating on monthly basis-for to execute this aim.
