Question: Every month I have very severe ovulation pain so bad I am in pain when I walk and when I sit down, it wakes me up during the night then the pain disappears as soon as the egg is released and I have a massive hush of red blood, I am trying for a baby does this gush of blood wash my egg away with it as this may be the reason I cannot get pregnant

Why is my body doing this now after having come off the contraceptive pill which i had been taking for two years, i had never had these problems before the pill.
