Brief Answer:
slow metabolism

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern. In order to correctly answer your question, I would ideally need to know your height and weight or your BMS. Sometimes weight is subjective to perception and does not necessarily reflect the real weight.

However, what I can say is that concentration of fat around the waist and lower half of the body is due to many factors such as genetic build, diet and metabolism.

You can work on your diet, by replacing meat and carbohydrates with fruit and vegetable, exercise more, and drink plenty of fluids. This will also help you get your metabolism going.

I hope this helps. If you have further questions I'd be happy to answer them.

Wishing you good health and all the best.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the additional information. With a BMI of 27.5 you are on the overwheight side, therefore you need to make changes in your diet not only in quality and quantity, but also in the daytime schedule.

I recommend you eat a full breakfast that is low in fat and sugars and contains fruit and vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers.

The lunch should contain a small quantity of lean meat and plenty of vegetables and no bread.

An afternoon snack such as a pot of yoghurt or an apple or any piece of fruit

Skip dinner or if you really must, repeat the afternoon snack.

Do not forget to drink a cup of water every two hours, because not only it speeds up your metabolism but it also fills up your stomach and decreases the hungry feeling.

It is essential that you find the type of daily exercise routine tha works best for you and stick to it.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you have further questions.

Wishing you all the best.
