Brief Answer:
Depends on the level of blood pressure.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic.

The management of high Blood pressure involves 3 components.

1. Diet.
2. Exercise.
3. Medication.

But diet and exercise will take months to show some effect and the reduction in blood pressure is only modest.

So whether you can be allowed to be only on diet and exercise depends on how high your Blood pressure is and whether that high blood pressure has caused or causing any damage to your body.

So let me know your recent blood pressure , since how long you have been doing and the test reports done once you were diagnosed as Hypertensive.

Will be looking forward from your side.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Start reducing the dosage.

Detailed Answer:
HI XXXXXXX

Welcome back .

See your Blood Pressure is very good, well controlled , but that is because of the medication you are taking and once you stop medication your Blood Pressure will go high . So don't stop medication.

Presently you are taking Eritel Am which is a combination of 2 Blood pressure medicine. What you can to is you can ask your doctor to reduce the dosage to half tablet every night and keep monitoring Blood pressure .

Even after 2 weeks of reduction of medication if your Blood pressure remains in the normal range then plan for further reduction can be made . Or better you consult me again and I shall advise you what to do .

Continue your exercise and yoga and if possible increase the intensity or duration of exercise with every week.

Any clarifications kindly revert back .

Regards.
