Suggest Ways To Manage Fluoroquinolones Toxicity

Question: Hi This is XXXXXXX
I would like to know what is recommended for Fluoroquinolone toxicity
I would like to know what is recommended for Fluoroquinolone toxicity
Brief Answer:
Drink much water while on treatment!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
The toxicity of fluroquinolones are well documented. However, the benefits from treatment often outweigh the side effects so much that we would often consider using it. To reduce toxicity, we recommend that you drink much water while on treatment. This will help to maintain the kidneys working appropriately which prevents accumulation in the body system that causes increased toxicity.
In all, increased fluid intake.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me and ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

My husband discontinued the Levaquin after 2 IV doses and 1 oral dose.
At the suggestion of his Gastroenterologist, he did drink large amounts of water.
I would like to know if you would recommend Glutathione infusions or Mg IV?
Any other supplements?

Hi and thanks for this added details.
In all sincerity, non of these supplements means a thing. It is a way to defraud users and they offer no added value. I will mo recommend any supplement at this time.
I wish your husband well. Best wishes in all you do.
