Suggest Ways To Manage Blood Sugar Levels

Question: Hi Doctor,
I have recently undergone medical tests and my fasting blood sugar level is 110. With this I feel that I am very much under the risk of diabetes. Post lunch blood sugar was not done as part of those tests. Right now I am tensed if I am entering into the risk of diabetes. I have resumed my morning walks which I have stopped some time back. Can you please suggest me the precautions I have to take in terms of Life style, food and other sections so that my position is under control.

Brief Answer:
Small and frequent meals, Avoid sedentary life style.
Detailed Answer:
Hi sir, i have gone through your query and understood your concerns.
As of now 110 fasting is normal. But as you said it is towards risk. Any how it is good to take precautions to prevent it as long as possible.
Coming exercise, it is good that you have started walking. Brisk walking up to 45 minutes is good.
Avoid sugars, sweets, reduce carbohydrates like rice. Avoid vegetables grown under ground like Potato.
Eat green leafy vegetables. Coming to fruits, Guava, Papaya and to some extent apple are allowed.
Hope this will help you. For any other queries you are welcome.
Thank you sir.
