Question: hi
my daughter age is 13yrs and weighs approx 40 kg. she was detected with Dengue.
on 11 Sep she started having fever which lasted till 14 sep. from 15 Sep she has had no fever.
she had no body pain or headache.
on 15 sep in the evening she developed red rashes on her hand and feet.
her blood platelet count from 13 to 15 sep was 1,69,000, then 1,50,000 and again 1,50,000.
what should i look out for if she is developing into DHF

As her platelet counts are not so low, and presently under the safe limit, it is very unlikely to get DHF.
Rashes can be appeared due to local trauma or any allergic cause. Small patechie hemorrhagic patches are alarming, so find such patches if their.
Otherwise just maintain the proper hydration, drink lots of water, juices etc.
Routine platelet counts. But as you have given the history, i am sure she is not developing DHF.
So do not worry. just maintain hydration. Have close watch to rule out patechial hemorrhages small pink patches.
