Suggest Ways To Manage The Side Effects Of Livalo
Question: Hello , my doctor started me on livalo and
I seem to be having more side affects from it than the other statins he has had me take . They had samples that they started me on to try . They are 4 mg pills and they have had to split them . I found on the livalo website that it says not to split or crush them . What are the affects of splitting the pills ? thanks

Brief Answer:
Not dangerous
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
If it is written not to divide the tablet, it means that medication is not distributed equally through the tablet, and you will have unequale doses if you divide it. So one day you will have slightly more dose than another day. It is not dangerous, but it is not desirable.
Take care
