Brief Answer:
No need to increase the dose
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
Above 60yrs of age we generally target a bp of <150/90 as per the latest XXXXXXX & European cardiology society guidelines.
100mg of Losartan is good enough dose but I'll recommend taking it in morning as it will control the bp whole day. In the night the bp generally falls as the blood vessels relaxes therefore if given once daily, we give the antihypertensive in morning so that the morning & night bp remains in control.
Their is no need to increase the dose or change medicine currently.
I hope this answers your query. If you have any more question, I'll be happy to help.
Thanks & take care
