Suggest Ways To Rule Out Appendicitis

Question: C/c RLQ ABD px.
HPI- Never had the px before in this location
Currently not taking any Rx but taking OTC Nyquil
Subjective- onset couple of hours ago, located inferior laterial to the naval, px is constant, quality feels like a pulling muscle with swelling feeling, moving or touching the general area, laying down helps the px.
Currently not taking any medication for the px as of now.
Nothing as far as I know caused the px, just laying in bed laughing and then felt a pulling sharp px. Cannot determine if its a pulled muscle or a complaint that requires further investigation with exams or labs.
