Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Even though haemorrhoids, anal fissure, polyps, rectal prolapse are possible, the previous history of malignancies and the age warrant that colo-rectal malignancy should be ruled out. I'd recommend a digital rectal exam followed by proctoscopy in consultation with a gastroenterologist should be done.
Biopsy can be done to obtain a tissue based diagnosis.
Wishing you the best of health, feel free to ask further.
Thanks
