Suggest Ways To Wean Off Ativan

Question: I have been on Ativan 1mg for one week I want to get off it now how should I proceed. I also take clonidine .1mg and diovan 160 for high blood pressure I don't like the benzos and had a hard time getting off 2mg of valium

You have been taking 1mg ativan for 1 week.

It is a very mininal dose. In my opinion, you can stop it straight away.
But if you still feel apprehensive, you can reduce to 0.5 mg ativan for a week and then stop.

does the clonidine help when withdrawinf from the benzos and I was on 2.5 mg of valium for a month and a half and have now been off ot for a week possibly with the help of the Ativan but now I want off everything jus keep clonidine and iovan any suggestions
