Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

It is not safe to stop taking sertraline suddenly. This course of action is likely to result in serious withdrawal which feels like having the flu -- it isn't dangerous, but very uncomfortable. You need to work with an experienced physician to slowly wean off the medication in a medically safe way -- you cannot do this on your own.
