I decreased the dose after speaking to my primary doctor. She told me to go down in dose because i am trying to get pregnant. Are these symptoms normal 6 weeks after going down on the dose. My blood pressure was 110/60...not sure if thats an issue too
Brief Answer:
Yes, it is normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thank you for your query.
If you were my patient then I would have decreased the dose of Zoloft very slowly to avoid any withdrawal symptoms.
I would advise you to decrease 25 mg per week up to minimum effective dose.
As you decreased the dose directly down to 50 mg, you are suffering with withdrawal symptoms.
But gradually it will go away, till then if the symptoms are troublesome then you can take Clonazepam 0.25 mg on SOS basis after discussing with your doctor.
Your blood pressure is absolutely normal and it has no effect.
Awaiting your response.
Thank you
