Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Ok, i have gone through the details. As you have thyroid problem, it can also cause difficulty in swallowing. I would suggest you check your thyroid levels and if on medication take those regularly. If there is an enlargement in thyroid, that can cause compression on food pipe.
It is best for you to visit a doctor personally to check and treat accordingly. You may be asked to go for an upper esophageal endoscopy to look into your throat.
Meanwhile you can take:
- C.Ganaton Total 1-0-0 before breakfast for 4 weeks
- Warm salt water gargling three times a day may help.
- Avoid oily and spicy food. Take small but frequent meals.
- Regular morning walk and exercise to keep the bowel movements proper.
- Take curd or yogurt on daily basis. Take plenty of green leafy vegetables as well as other sources of dietary fibers.
- Stress reduction has a very important role to play. Deep breathing exercises should help.
These are only for temporary relief, investigations is a must to rule out anything serious; if your symptoms persists.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to discuss further.
