Swelling Of Eye Lids Didn't Reduce Even After 2 Days
Question: Swelling of eye lids didn't reduce even after 2 days of medicines. infact it has increased. Painful and puss formed. How long will it take to heal?

Swelling and pus of lids indicates infection and infection will not subside in two days dear. A minimum 7 day course of antibiotics along with painkillers is required. Following that medicines have to be stopped as per the condition of the eyes.

The attached pictures have opened sir . This seems infective lid swelling also called as pre septal cellulitis . Dont worry though. it will resolve after 7 days of antibiotics . Please do hot fomentation also with a clean cloth over the lid . Hope it helps . Regards
