Question: Thank you, I am a 56 yr old female I take 50 mg`s of Seroquel and 60 mg`s of Cymbalta, I often have times where I lose gaps in time. I have severe panic attacks on occasion and when very stressed will make traffic mistakes such as turning left on red. Have had to call my husband to pick me up because I do not know where I am in an area I am familiar with. When stressed my vision is blurred. Often I see people I know well and can not remember there names. I do not like to leave my home and can stay home for 5 days with no problem. I also take 4 mg`s of Clonazepam. I only sleep 4-5 hrs. a night and spend money on mail order to try to find happiness

Brief Answer:
Mild cognitive impairment and clonazepam adverse effects possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Symptoms and issues with memory and orientation that you describe point towards mild cognitive impairment, a condition that may herald dementia.

One possible explanation for these issues is clonazepam and its possible adverse effects.

In my opinion, an evaluation by your Neurologist in order to understand correctly if yours are symptoms caused by clonazepam or it is mild cognitive impairment, is necessary.

I think that first clonazepam should be stopped gradually ( tapered ).

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
