Question: The ER doctor shared with the nurse, that with all the symptoms that he witnessed, he wanted to do a "24-hour" urinalysis to see how much adrinaline was dumped in my system. He wanted to rule out, "Pheo."

I don't start Medidare until 7/1/2020, what relief suggestions can you give me?

Hello

Keeping into consideration your medical history and event of accelerated hypertension and no other significant medical issues in the past it’s advisable to keep a close watch on your blood pressure by measuring it twice a day at fixed time and chart it. Keep the antihypertensive medications on hold if your blood pressure stays below 130/80mmhg on average.
If it goes beyond that start with a 5 mg of amlodipine initially.
Your doctor wants to check the levels of 24 hrs urinary metanephrines to rule out the presence of a rare condition called pheochromocytoma.
