Question: The last few days my right foot and ankle have been swollen. There is no pain and I’ve had no injury. The swelling is only in the right foot. I cannot think of any reason it would swell. I’m urinating normally. I’ve had no other symptoms.

It could be Lymphedema

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Swelling of one foot and ankle can be due to Lymphedema.
If the swelling is red and associated with pain,then it could be Cellulitis, i.e, Infection of skin and subcutaneous tissue.
In patients who are taking Tablets for High Blood pressure,limb swelling is noted.Hope you are not Hypertensive.
I prescribe Tablet containing Trypsin and Chymotrypsin(Tablet Chymoral forte) thrice daily before food to patients with limb swelling.
Nothing to worry.
Keep the affected limb in elevated position.
If the swelling is.not subsiding, please consult a physician and proceed further.
