Brief Answer:
Chronic damage of the brain mostly due to unstable blood pressure.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read the MRI report.

These findings are consistent with chronic damage to the brain due to conditions such as high blood pressure, unstable blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, etc.

The damage is mainly connected with the narrowing of the small vessels causing this way ischemic changes in the brain tissue.

The progression is stopped or slowed by finding and treating correctly the underlying cause.

Discuss with your Neurologist these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.
