This Is Anas From XXXXXXX Technologies In XXXXXXX And I
Question: This is Anas from XXXXXXX Technologies in XXXXXXX and I'm contacting you to get your advice for my wife.
My wife (aged 29 years) has lower back pain (near the hip) for nearly 2-3 weeks now. We did consult orthopedic doctor initially and there are no fracture or bone issues. As per ortho doctor's advice, we consulted a physiotherapist and she is diagnosed with a muscle spasm in the lower back causing pain for her. She is currently taking treatment from a physiotherapist for LS SPINE and completed 3 sessions with the physiotherapist already. However, the improvement is very slow and pain in the hip reduced very marginally (or we would not say not reduced at all).
The pain reduces when taking pain killers (temporary solution) but we can't continuously take pain killers as per physiotherapist advice.
Please suggest any internal medicines for this problem and provide your advice.

Brief Answer:
possibility of inflammatory back pain
Detailed Answer:
hi
I am sorry to hear that.
I agree that a pain killer is not the solution however if she is getting good relief with it then there is a possibility that she suffers from some inflammation in the spine.
I suggest to get her ESR,CRP, and HLA B27 checked.
we will need to rule out spondyloarthritis.
