This Is Regarding A 34 Year Old Female Patient Who
Question: This is regarding a 34 year old female patient who has over reactive bladder due to spinal cord injury since 2008. Our doctor suggested Darifenacin15 mg few years back. The medicine (currently Darilong) is working as expected but the 15 mg variant is not available in the market. We searched for multiple brands like Darif, Vesigard, Dariten OD and 15mg is difficult to find and 7.5 mg is more available. Is it ok to take 7.5 mg two tablets at once instead of 15mg ?
Secondly, we also have recommendation for trying newer drug like Mirago 50 mg and Trofame 60mg. However, we are reluctant to change yet since Darifenacin is working great since past few years. Are these drugs better alternative to Darifenacin ? shall we switch ?

Brief Answer:
You can take 7.5 mg tab twice daily
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query
Based on the facts that you have posted you were taking Darifenacin 15 mg once daily which is not available in the market
In a given circumstances you can take two tablets once daily or one tab twice daily which will be as effective as taking 15 mg once daily.
The newer drugs have similar mode of action Hence there is no harm in switching over to mMerabegon
Thanks and Regards
