Question: This is the second time now I feel fine, then immediately get shortness of breath and major lung irritation accompanied by a fever and nausea. Then I break out in an itchy rash on my armpits, groin, and buttocks which everyone tells me looks like hay fever. I took some Zyrtek for my rash and nightquil for my lungs and fever and it went away in about 3 hrs.

Brief Answer:
Possibility of allergic reaction is more likely.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on 'Ask a Doctor' forum.
I've reviewed the attached pictures, I can understand your concern.

By your history and description, possibility of allergic reaction is more likely.
Sudden onset of events and improving with Zyrtec are suggestive of allergic reaction.

So, it's recommended to get done detailed allergy testing to identify allergens causing these events.

The best treatment of allergy is an identification of allergen and if possible complete avoidance of it.

Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.

Wish you good health.
Thanks
