Question: This year I%E2%80%99m not that stable and I repeated multiple hemoptysis secondary to Bronchiectasis.. my cough is not under control and from time to time I have high fever.. Pseudomonas aeruginosa colonized.. and I had lobectomy when I was child.

My question: my doctors just prescribing antibiotic since early October ( Ciprofloxacin) or (levofloxacin) with fever. And now they want me to take Ciprofloxacin(500) for a month! I%E2%80%99m not feeling good with antibiotic before and the problem I always have Diarrhea and I feel really sick when I take them.. is it possible to be in antibiotic for that long? Usually I hot hospitalized but not taking antibiotic like this for such a duration!!?

In my opinion, you should try Tobramycin inhaled solution.
It is now preferred in pseudomonas infection.
It is given by Nebulization.
It is having very less side effects and act directly on lung infection.
So discuss about inhaled Tobramycin with your doctor.

I always have this bug but this year I%E2%80%99m not doing that good, I used tobramycin in 2017 and I had a resistance after I finished it as well I usually have resistance for cipro but this time they used my last test result back to October and it wasn%E2%80%99t. I%E2%80%99m really not feeling good, can I stop the antibiotic? I have sever diarrhea
