Three Months Ago, My Cat Scratched My Scleras. Stupidly, I
Question: Three months ago, my cat scratched my scleras. Stupidly, I applied only saline solution to my eyes and didn’t go to the ER. But since then, I’ve noticed pronounced red lines in my scleras and pain, and when I went to the optometrist in March, she said that it’s only dry eyes and so she prescribed eye drops, hot compresses and omega-3 pills. However, the pain hasn’t gone. The red lines in my scleras are still there. I’m very worried about going blind. Is it too late to reverse any damage to my eyes and remove the pain and, if not, what I can do to do that? Thanks in advance.
When can I expect an answer?
