There is no chance of rabies on eating fruit partially eaten/bitten by bats
Detailed Answer:
Hi Muralisae,
Thanks for the query. I have read it & undersyood your concern.
Rabies virus is spread from an infected mammal to victim through saliva with a bite, scratch or licking an open skin...
Bats suck all the juice from fruit&spit out dry fibers.. there is no saliva in the spit...so when they bite /eat a fruit... there is no chance of virus survival in the fruit which would cause infection after eating fruit....( the virus can pass through only saliva.& virus can not survive in dry saliva less medium.)
So there is no risk of rabies on eating fruit partially eaten by bats.
I hope that answers your query.Any follow up query is welcome.
Thank you.
