
Toddler Tested For Thyroid Level. Findings Are Slightly Elevated. Thyroid Level Was Normal During Birth

Question: Hello Dr
My child when born we took test and thyroid level normal . But today we had a check again and it showing thyroid level TSH=0.382uIU/ml
and
FREE T4 Level 1.84 ng/dl
She is now 17 months is it normal?
Mother having Thyroid problem
Now child weight 12.5 Kg at 17 months
When born Thyroid Normal

American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) recommends a range of 0.3 - 3.0 mIU/L as a normal range of TSH.
FT4 normal levels 0.8 -2.8 ng/dL.
So there is no reason to worry.
Your child has a very nice weight for her age.
