Next day doctor advised my husband to go for surgery and advised me to stop taking the tablets advised by her .( only CCQ tablets taken for 1 day at that time) .
THis month my menstrual cycle not yet begin ,so I again visited doctor .
She checked for pregnancy ,which is negative . So she gave 'Restrogene 5mg' tablets .
Asked me to take morning and night 1 tablet for 5 days .
5 days completed ,still No indication of menstruation .

Thanks for posting your query.
Your doctor has given you regesterone tablets for 5 days so that withdrawal bleeding can happen. The withdrawal bleeding usually starts 72 hours after stopping the tablets. You need for wait for at least 3-4 more days for the bleeding to begin.
There are many causes of not being able to conceive. If your husband's semen analysis is normal then most commonly it is the wrong timing of intercourse which is responsible for delayed conception.
For you to conceive, there are a few essential prerequisites:
a. Ovulation should take place. We can determine whether you are ovulating or not using certain clinical tests and using ultrasound around day14-day 16 of your cycles.
b. The number and other characteristics of the sperms in your husband’s semen should be normal. This can be determined by a semen analysis.
The following measures will improve your chances of conceiving:
a. Have unprotected sexual intercourse especially during days 10-18. The frequency should be atleast on alternate days.
b. Have a healthy, balanced diet
c. Practice yoga and meditation to ensure you remain stress free
I would suggest you to visit your gynaecologist and get yourself evaluated.
Do not worry, everything will be fine.
Hope this answers your query. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.

Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
Doctor told this will be normal in 90 days (new sperm production). It has been a month now .On Feb 24th he got operated .
My husband is back to normal activities now .
Can we physically XXXXXXX now or wait for some time ?
Surgeon not advised anything on this to us .
pls advise.
Thanks for writing again.
Since your husband got operated for varicocele, it will take him 3 months for normal sperm production to happen. Till then you can make physical relations but the chances of conception are low.
Some of the do's and the don'ts for improving sperm health.
Don't:
Dont Sit in hot tubs – Your testicles hang outside your body because sperm like it cooler than 98.6°F. Body temperature and above can kill sperm.
Smoke – Smoking is associated with low sperm counts, decreased motility, and a higher incidence of miscarriages. The toxic reactive oxygen species from smoking do damage sperm.
Drinks – Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. You probably do not need to completely abstain but you should drink moderately.
Exercise too strenuously – Strenuous exercise may increase the temperature of your testicles. It may also cause changes in testosterone levels that lead to decreased production of sperm.
Dos
Do Take Nutritional Supplements – The following supplements have been recommended to enhance sperm production:
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Selenium
Zinc
Coenzyme Q-10
L–Carnitine
B-Complex
Folic Acid 400mg
Stay Healthy and Fit – Moderate exercise will always help.
Anything that improves a man's general health is good for his sperm.
Get plenty of rest.
Drink plenty of liquids.
Minimize stress.
Ejaculate frequently – Try to ejaculate every 24 to 48 hours. Sperm production is similar to breast milk production. The more you use the more you produce.
