My Sugar and Cholesterol levels was high from some time, finally in Feb 2017 I met a Doctor regarding this, he had put me in Pivasta 4 Mg and Onderomet 2.5/500 Mg, when my Sugar levels did not went down in 3 months the medicine Onderomet 2.5/1000 was given to me. I am taking the medicine from last 17 months (Pivast 4 MG and Onderomet 2.5/1000), but seems like the Sugar level are controlled. Hi.
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I have seen your reports.
The current report are better than before. Specifically speaking HbA1c is very well under control.
Your weight loss must have played a major role in helping you get the control.
I will recommend continual of the same medications.
Also it's better to take the medication prior to food but in case you are suspecting a delay in meal times do continue taking it after food. That way we can be sure your sugars will not fall.
Thanks.

Thanks Doctor.

For how long I have to take the medicine. Do I need to reduce my weight few more KGs.

Hope this medicine will not be a life long affair for me :(. Should I be considered as Diabetic person- or it’s a prediabetic situation and I will get rid of medicine after sometime.

I don’t have any family history of sugar in my family.

Hello.
I have read your response.
my response are as follows.

1. it's always better to maintain your weight at the ideal body weight.

2. this is diabetes. with high HbA1c that you had previously, there's no doubt about that.

3. the medications need to continue as long as possible. the dose may need adjustment. but they need to continue.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Best wishes. Dr Mittal
