Until What Age Can A Woman Conceive?

Question: My first child is 9 years ( born in 2007 Male) old and I wanted to conceive another child. But it is getting delayed. Planning since last 5 months
Is it safe to conceive child at my age?
My Second pregnancy is terminated in the year 2013 at 21 weeks due to multiple fetal anomalies.

I understand your concerns about trying pregnancy again.

Following is my reply:

1) It is safe to conceive at your age. That is not a problem.

2) Since you had multiple abnormalities in last pregnancy, you try taking folic acid tablets now everyday as you are trying to conceive.

3) See a gynecologist / fetal medicine specialist as soon as you conceive to identify abnormalities if any at the earliest.

4) Please try with help of a fertility specialist as you are facing difficulty in getting pregnancy spontaneously.
