Urine Analysis Shows Higher Pus Cells. Having Low Grade Fever. Put On Antibiotic. Help?
Question: my sisters urine analysis shows higher pus cells (40 - 60) and high CRP (24). she is having low grade fever since 7 days. she was put on antibiotic then. Prior to that she had fever 102. Is it connected to infection of Kidney. Urine Culture is Negative. Require urgent help.

High pus cells in the urine and CRP around 24 definitely are caused by Fever is also very characteristic for this condition. Other possible symptoms she may have are frequent urinating, burning while urinating, lower abdominal pain and back pain.
If she has finished her antibiotic, another urine analysis and urine culture should be done. If she still has the symptoms, another (different) antibiotic is necessary.
Recurring or hardly treatable urinary tract infections can be caused by diabetes or urinary tract issues (like narrow urethra or urine reflux to the kidneys). That is why if this infection will be coming back, she should visit urologist.
In a meanwhile she should drink plenty of mineral water (like 2-3 liters/24 hours) and have cranberries supplements.

Thanks, Sugar level PP has come up 154 against higher level of 140. Should she be getting treated for this also. Creatinine is 1.06. No kidney issue..Only Urine infection is what you emphasize.
Sugar level around 150 can not definitely be diabetes diagnose. She should have Oral Glucose Tolerance Test done to rule diabetes out. This is a simple test where glucose is given and after 2 hours blood samples are taken to see how it is metabolized.
Creatine 1.06 is fine. It tells about kidneys function which seems to be fine as well. So urinary tract infection seems to be the only issue.
