Vaginal Itching And Discharge, Transmission Of Bacterial Vaginosis
Question: hi...i m 21 ,height 5.4, weight 50...i m having lot of itching in vagina since last one week...there in no burning , no kind of white discharge but in gap of some hrs there is urge to itch n some kind of white stuff on vagina portion.. sometimes by rubbing also it doesnt go n i have to 2 press it..pls answer wat it can be? can dis problem be due to sex or something else? wat can i do for dis? thank u

Thanks for the query.
You seem to have a vaginal infection. It could be either candidiasis or bacterial vaginosis. If there is curdy, white discharge the candid infection is more likely. If there is dirty white patches on the vaginal walls along with itching, then vaginosis is more likely.
You will need a physical examination by a competent gynecologist for diagnosis examined for confirmation. Antibiotic medication /creams use is entailed.
This is usually not sexually transmitted. Good hygiene is very important here.
You should see your doctor for prescription medications.
