They re protein and nutrition sources and food products that are utilized to assist bodybuilders and athletes to achieve their desired daily protein intake requirements. Types of protein supplements include protein powders, protein bars, weight gainers, and meal replacements.

It all depends on your goals and and who you are (age, gender, weight, ect) how much you will benefit from them.

If you are not an athlete, or a professional who wants a specific muscle gain, then you can probably achieve your protein daily requirements just by eating healthy food, rich in protein in every meal.
