Was Suggested To Have An MRI Don't Know If I

Need more information
Detailed Answer:
Hi ma'am
Thank you for asking ask a doctor 24 7 service.
I have gone through your query with diligence. Vertigo can be central or peripheral. Central is due to issues in Brain which need MRI to sort it out.
Do you have vomiting sensation?
Does the vertigo getting better after vomiting if it present?
Does the vertigo intensified while getting up or changing position?
Anti vertigo drugs like betahistine can be taken for 7 days. If no improvement then you can go for MRI. Blood pressure should be checked again and if it is high antihypertensive drugs should be started.
It is also better to have an examination by ENT specialist to rule out problems with inner ear which can be one of the reason for peripheral vertigo.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
