I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!
I understand your concern and would explain that some skipped heart beats ( also called ectopic heart beats) are quite normal in every healthy individual during physical activity or emotional stress.
Anyway, considering the loss in weight, I would recommend checking your thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction.
An ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring would help examine your heart rhythm trends for a prolonged period of time and investigate for the type of cardiac arrhythmia.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
I remain at your disposal in case you will be able to upload your performed tests for a second opinion.
Kind regards,
Dr.Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Thank you for the additional information!
Yes the hard work and synthroid can influence in all this clinical situation.
The Holter monitoring results will help determine if this is a benign type of arrhythmia or if there is any need for any treatments (beta-blockers, calcium-channel blockers, etc..) .
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Wishing all the best,

Thank you
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that these increased heart beats do not cause the metabolism to increase, but they are probably related to the same cause that has caused the increased metabolism: synthroid, physical activity or anxiety.
You should know that all these factors (synthroid, physical activity or anxiety) lead to the activation of the sympathetic nervous system, causing increased levels of circulating adrenaline, which is responsible for the increased metabolism and ectopic heart beats.
Hope to have clarified some of your uncertainties!
Wishing good health,
Dr. Iliri
