Question: Welcome to 'Ask a Doctor'. Please type your question here...I took a 7.5/325 Hydrocodone tablet Friday night at 10:00. Got DOT drug screen Monday at 7:00 am. Do you think I passed it? Prescription is from 2008 and I only took the one pill in the last few months.

Brief Answer:
this is three days?

Detailed Answer:
It is probably going to be detected.

However, one pill in 10 years is hardly an addiction.
Oxycodone probably wouldn't be tested for but hydrocodone reacts with the common tests they usually do.

One could have the previous prescription history BUT 10 years previously... is not going to look very good.

It shows up for about 5 days.

Moreover, this is not a pattern for addiction.

Regards
