Brief Answer:
As detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback, seen the photo and report of thyroid function, mild increase in TSH may be or may not be significant.
The photos shows good granulation tissues but needs to see the recent photo with grafting.
The photo also shows good toes and seems that the recovery will be good.
The skin graft takes a few days for sticking up and be healthy and with strength with time.
Once the healing occurs a good physiotherapy allows walking.
It appears that a consultation with a Diabetologist may increase the doses of Insulin.
About the heart medications: patient should not stop or start the medications on his own and should strictly follow the prescription and advise of a Cardiologist as this is complicated by diabetes. The Specialists would decide on clinical examination, evaluation and investigations the medicines that need to be continues, dosages adjusted and new medications started.
A standard diabetic diet would be ideal and is decided by a dietitian.
If the diabetes is controlled well he will surely have more positive results in recovery.
And most importantly post the photos after skin grafting.
Multivitamins with mineral and trace elements helps recovery well.
Not to allow hanging of foot as this increases edema and delayed healing. Keep the foot above the heart level n lying down position to improve healing.
I hope this answers your query.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant questions.
