Question: What antibiotic can I buy without prescription for vaginal yeast infection? I am from Brazil and there you can buy one doze Fluconazole, do you have it here? I had already taken that Monistat 7 cream and I still have very uncomfortable symptoms (can't even sleep), it comes and goes. I need something that works fast, please!

Brief Answer: Take clotrimazole vaginal suppository. Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXX, Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns. Antibiotics donot cure fungal infection like yeast. You need to take antifungals like clotrimazole. But I will advise you to get a culture of your vaginal swab as we need to know the correct orgnanism before we start medicines. Do follow up with me with your culture reports so that I can tell you the best drug as there are many fungi and bacteria that can cause infection.
