I read your query and here is my advice.
Please add some more details about your son. I want to know his age and how long has he been dealing with these symptoms.
How often has he got fever during day and if you were using anything for it.
Has he got any medication allergies ?
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

I filled all these details in the form. anyway he is 8 yrs, 10 months.
he is been dealing with this symptoms from 13 Dec midnight.
he was getting the fever back after every 5hrs and we were giving calpol 250mg after each 6hrs as recommended by his doctor.
he is also having lot of cough for which we are giving chericof 5ml/3times from last 4 days. and added cetzine 5ml/2times from last 2 days as recommended by his doctor.
last calpol was given yesterday night at 11 PM post that he hasn't got fever yet, but lot of cough is still there.

his doctor has asked us to update the status yesterday evening, till then he was continuously getting the fever so we update the same hence he recommended " clamp kid forte syp 5ml twice for 6days ". now we are in confusion whether we should start this or normal Amoxicillin 250mg for 5days, as fever is not back from yesterday night 11pm to until now but lot of cough is still there ?

no medication allergy as of now.
Brief Answer:
Better don't start antibiotics
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
Now his situation is clearer. I think you better don't start antibiotics since he is with no fever from 11pm and seems getting better.
Continue with cough and allergies medications.
You can update me on his situation after 24 hours.
