What Are Cause For Small Pigmented Spot On His Big Toe?

Question: Hello hello! I’m attaching a picture of my 21 year old son’s left foot. As you will see, there is a small pigmented spot on his big toe. He first noticed it about nine months ago and it has not changed at all. Does it appear worrisome at all? I understand there is something called an acral nevus that can appear on toes and fingers, but googling it also mentioned acral melanoma which of course scared me!! Thank you very much!
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It is a common nevus.
There is nothing to worry.
Just relax it is not melanoma.
If you want to get it removed, it can easily be done by using radio frequency ablation machine by a dermatologist.
However that is required only for cosmetic appearance.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
