What Are Chances Of Pregnancy Inspite Of No Ejaculation?

Question: Can small amount of pre-ejaculate pass through 2 layers of clothing(boxer and panties) to cause pregnancy? .There was neither any penetration nor any ejaculation. She has irregular cycle(longest being 3 months) & her LMP before the incident happened on 6th March and this act happened on 30th March . To our relief ,she got her next period on 9th April with normal flow and duration. We even did a HPT 4 weeks after the act (as I had heard you can get period while still pregnant) and it was negative. Is pregnancy 100% ruled out?
Brief Answer:
pregnancy negativei
Detailed Answer:
Hello, if there is a negative pregnancy test and a normal period after the encounter you can rule out pregnancy. Also, the fact that there was no direct contact of the ejaculate with the genitals, means you are safe from pregnancy. It doesnt pass through layers of clothing. In your case its my opinion, that you need not worry about pregnancy.

Is there any chance a that a pregnancy bleeding may resemble a period and do women get periods at all while pregnant? Also if next period date is not known due to irregular periods, then after how many weeks after the act, will a hpt be most accurate?
Brief Answer:
rare occurance
Detailed Answer:
Getting a period during early occurs rarely. But its usually a light bleed, less than normal flow. In this instance, i'd say you need not worry. However, if cycles are irregular, its not possible to determine exactly when the fertile period will be. So unless you are using contraception, pregnancy is a possibility. In regular cycles, the fertile period is between day12-16 so a pregnancy test should be positive by 1 week after missing a period. In irregular cycles, its not possible to say when the test will be positive accurately since fertile days cant be determined exactly. Take the test at least 2 weeks aftet missing a period.

You mean with irregular periods, intercourse anytime poses a risk but in my case where there is no intercourse and that too on top of clothes with subsequent period and neg test, there is no risk.Right?
Brief Answer:
right
Detailed Answer:
That is correct. If there is no penetration and no direct contact of semen with the genital area of the female partner, pregnancy is not likely.
