Question: since 1987 I have been on perphenazine... what is likely to happen over prolonged use... just turned 53 years of age thank you.

Brief Answer: some neurological side effects Detailed Answer: Hello, Long use of perphenazine can lead to some side effects, most of which are neurological- tardiev diskinesea- movement abmormality -rigidy and tremors -blank facial expression -hypersalivation -some urinating problems -menstural problems -pseudo parkinsons- slow and shuffling gate, pin rolling tremors in hands, stupped posture, small stepped gate etc.( The parkinson disorder you mentioned under medical history in the query can be due to this drug).
