What Are Spots On The Head Of My Penis They Were Fordyce Spots?

Question: I have some spots on the head of my penis and in the past I was told they were fordyce spots. One has become much more red almost like it filled with blood and maybe even slightly raised. I want to make sure it's nothing serious.

Based on the facts that you have posted you seem to have been diagnosed to have Fordyce spot on glans penis which has recently turned to be red ..

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments .
1) Is there itching of the glans penis ?
2) Are you Diabetic?
3) Did you have oral sex very recently?

The Fordyce's spot getting turned in to red can happen when it gets inflamed or gets infected .

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.
