Question: My question is related to ICP (intracavernosal pharmacotherapy) for treatment of ED. I would like to know if this treatment method has any adverse effect on a man's penis, or anything else. Could this treatment do any harm to my health or any damage at all?

Brief Answer:
It will not harm your health.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you are curious to know about the side effects of intracavernosal injection therapy for Erectile Dysfunction.

A combination of three drugs like Papaverine,Pentolamine and prostaglandin has been widely used to get good hard erection .

If used and injected with due care there are no serious side effects like bruising at the site of injection .

It may cause scarring at the site of injection if injected at the same site repeatedly.

One has to learn proper technique of self injecting from a qualified Urologist or Sexologist .

If taken twice in a week it will nothave any adverse effect on penis .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Thank you for your response. According to what you've stated, there is no risk to any organ or to my health in any way by using ICP therapy. I've noticed that you've advised twice per week. Are there any adverse effects to my health if used more than twice per week?

My second question is related to man to man oral sex and the use of ICP. Would there be blood involved? Is this therapy safe if oral sex might be involved?

Brief Answer:
No risk to other organs.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up.
There is no risk to other organs as the action is limited locally to erectile tissue in penis.

Normally it should not be used 12 times in a month .Repeated injections may result in scaring of Tunica Albuginea and may cause painful erection.

Action of this drug is limited only to penile erection and it will not have any adverse effect if oral sex is performed.

Thanks and Regards.
