What Are The After Effects Of A Vasectomy?
Question: in male vasectomy will you feel the clamps after you had healed
Brief Answer:
Yes some patients do feel some discomfort.
Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with healthcare magic!
It will depend on the technique used for your vasectomy. Most vasectomies are done using absorbable sutures and the sutures used are completely dissolved in 2 months time. If a metal clip is used then you would be able to feel the clips when you palpate it in the scrotum.
There are a number of patients where they would feel a sensation of discomfort in the scrotum after the vasectomy. This is due to some nerve irritation and fibrosis during wound healing.
